ROCK HOPPERS

♫ ♪ ♫ MUSIC & DOCUMENTATION PORTAL ♫ ♪ ♫

Rock Hoppers is a Vision Pro–first space sim about life on the frontier—mining, trading, and surviving among the asteroids. You fly a modular Rockhopper built for harsh, hands-on work: tether to drifting rock, land on knuckled surfaces, drill for ore, and nurse your ship home with scorch marks to show for it. Every upgrade matters. Swap rigs, refit bays, and tune your hinged main engine for vertical landings or long burns. Two onboard AIs ride shotgun—MIRA, your calm navigator, and BASH, your blunt mining & security handler—each unlocking new systems as you learn the ropes.

This isn't a theme park; it's a living economy. Haul ice, rare metals, and volatile cargo through risky lanes. Take contracts, outsmart pirates, and defend your claim with the same tools you used to build it. Your progression spans you and your ship—body augments, cockpit tech, industrial drills, cargo architecture—so competence feels earned, not granted. The loop is simple and satisfying: scout, secure, extract, deliver… then reinvest for the next, bigger leap.

Beneath the work lies a slow-burn mystery. Eighty years after a catastrophe, new faiths and hard ideologies shape the colonies—the Celestial Orthodox Church, the secretive Order of the Rose, the ruthless Iron Theorem. Whispers of a 12,000-year cycle, relics hidden in stone, and records that don't add up pull you toward dangerous questions. Fly for profit, or follow the breadcrumbs. Either way, the belt remembers.

"In development." If you're into emergent sims, crunchy ship systems, and lore that rewards curiosity, you're in the right place. Follow along as we build the Vision Pro MVP and chart the first playable campaign from your first tether to your first defended claim—and beyond.
